The Ballistic Advantage 5.56 chambered 13.7inch Government Profile Mid-Length Modern Series Barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension.
Note from Phillip: These barrels are the perfect candidate for a Pin and Welded muzzle device to being the overall legal length to 16". We offer Pin and Weld services, as well as offer muzzle devices that are long enough to bring this barrel to legal length. We recommend the Dead Air KeyMo Muzzle Brake for a suppressor mount, or any of the muzzle devices listed here that reach the legal 16" length and are marked as practical. Muzzle devices marked as "marginal" are not recommended.

Gas Block Dimple Service: If you're planning on using a set screw style of gas block with this barrel, we highly recommend choosing the dimple service. The dimple ensures that a set screw gas block is perfectly aligned with the gas port and cannot rotate or slide out of position under extreme use.
Feed Ramp Polishing Service: Same as the Feed Ramp Polishing service we provide separately, this can help smooth out feeding and possibly prevent some feeding issues. This service is best done with the upper receiver in hand to match the feed ramps in the barrel to the upper, but can be done with just the barrel.

BA 13.7 Govt modern series
Right length barrel from a reliable manufacturer, at an even better price than usual thanks to Bexar's blowout sale. Also want to shout out their customer support: I forgot to add the 11.5 barrel I wanted to my first order, so they refunded the shipping cost for it and threw it in the same box as this one. Responded to my email with a phone call the same afternoon; you're not getting customer support like that from every vendor out there. They even threw in a bunch of extra stickers.

The perfect barrel
Shortest barrel that can be pinned and welded that can give you a legal rifle. Barrel is accurate and these guys did a good job with the gas block dimple. Time to get a stock!
