These Mil-Spec charging handles are modified in house by Bexar Arms with an extra-power stainless steel latch spring to keep the charging handle securely locked to the upper receiver and to prevent it from coming loose under recoil. These charging handles are ideal for heavy recoiling "big bore" calibers such as 458 SOCOM, 50 Beowulf, 450 Bushmaster, etc. These charging handles may also help worn out upper receivers that don't securely lock standard charging handles anymore.
