Forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, this assembled upper is precision machined to Mil-Spec dimensions and features M4 feedramps. These uppers DO NOT include forward assist capabilities, but does include a dust cover preinstalled for your convenience. Note: The no-forward assist upper receivers use a custom forging designed to work specifically with mil-spec port doors. These uppers may not work with aftermarket port doors.
Bexar Arms offers receiver face squaring for an additional $10 charge. More information on receiver squaring can be found below.

Squaring the Receiver Face
At Bexar Arms, we offer you the option to have the face of your receiver squared. Squaring the face of the receiver is an essential step in accurizing your AR pattern rifle, and ensures your barrel seats firmly and completely with the receiver face and is perfectly inline with the BCG raceway in the upper. This allows for a more consistent bolt engagement which evenly distributes force among all of your bolt lugs instead of only a few. This consistent lockup and complete barrel seating can help increase your AR's maximum accuracy potential as well as extend the life of your bolt. While squaring your receiver face is 100% unnecessary for your rifle to function, if you're looking to squeeze the absolute most performance out of your AR pattern rifle, we highly recommend it!

Aero Slick-Side Upper
Excellent build quality. The finish is perfect, aside from two small scuffs inside the receiver that clearly came from BCG test fitting. I'm happy to see them.

Gorgeous
She looks good, smells good, and may I be so bold as to even say...fits good. If you thought I’d tell you it tastes good too, which it does, I absolutely won’t because that is weird. Even with what’s happening right now, I got the upper fast and the squaring is done nicely. No rough edges. It’ll look great on the build, and I bet would truly stand out with a nice Hawaiian shirt. Looking forward to future business.

Wow that was fast!
I placed my order just before 8pm EST on a Tuesday and received my receivers the following Friday. Very fast processing and I loved the handwritten note. The receivers were package well, the squared receiver face is clean with no tool marks. I wish the rest of my parts from other vendors arrived as quickly as my Bexar Arms order.

Great upper and service
Last November I ordered an Aero Precision slick side upper receiver with your squared receiver face treatment. I finally was able to assemble my rifle and test it out. I was able to shoot some groups sub-moa and most groups hover right at one moa. I'm excited with the precision with this rifle. Thank you for the great deal on the upper. I appreciate the hand written note and great customer service. I'm not sure when my next build will be but I will first look to Bexar in the future.

Receiver Lapping
The receiver lapping service was an excellent choice and saved me the hassle of sending it out to someone or buying tools to do it myself. Took off just the right amount of anodizing to square it up and the threads were still crisp. The bottle of imperial lube was an outstanding touch!

Great Upper
I always use Aero slick sided uppers on all of my builds but decided to try out one with a squared face for a precision build. Finally assembled my upper and it shoots quite well with cheap ammo, cannot wait to try match ammo and aim for small groups! I would not hesitate to order from Bexar again in the future. Great service!
