Forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, this assembled upper is precision machined to Mil-Spec dimensions and features M4 feedramps. These uppers DO NOT include forward assist capabilities, but does include a dust cover preinstalled for your convenience. Note: The no-forward assist upper receivers use a custom forging designed to work specifically with mil-spec port doors. These uppers may not work with aftermarket port doors.

Squaring the Receiver Face
At Bexar Arms, we offer you the option to have the face of your receiver squared. Squaring the face of the receiver is an essential step in accurizing your AR pattern rifle, and ensures your barrel seats firmly and completely with the receiver face and is perfectly inline with the BCG raceway in the upper. This allows for a more consistent bolt engagement which evenly distributes force among all of your bolt lugs instead of only a few. This consistent lockup and complete barrel seating can help increase your AR's maximum accuracy potential as well as extend the life of your bolt. While squaring your receiver face is 100% unnecessary for your rifle to function, if you're looking to squeeze the absolute most performance out of your AR pattern rifle, we highly recommend it!

Aero milspec no FA FDE
Picked up 2 Aero uppers for super cheap thanks to Bexar's warehouse-clearing sale. Good forging and machining, My only issue is with Aero's cerakote being so thick that the ejection covers I also got won't move smoothly. Might have to do some sanding.

Slick side upper!
This isn't the absolute cheapest I've seen one of these, but it's assembled with a mil-spec dust cover, and when I picked it up they offered to lap the front face for free. Their work was exceptional, the part was well packaged and it shipped quick, and there was a handwritten note thanking me for my business. All in all it was a good deal
