458 SOCOM is a hard hitting round out of the AR-15 platform. While the ammo is quite expensive, these will surely bring a smile to people who get a kick out of heavier recoil out of an AR-15. 458 SOCOM is also a great round for relatively short range hunting with its heavy projectiles and large diameter.

A note from Phillip: I've personally used 458 SOCOM to hunt feral hogs with great results! We recommend using the DURAMAG 458 SOCOM magazines for the best performance and reliability. For our URG, we recommend using an H3 buffer and our Flat Wire Recoil Spring or an enhanced or extra power recoil spring.
