Our Billet Extractors are never made from MIM or cast processes. CNC milled from 4140 steel bar stock, our extractors are less susceptible to fatigue failures, and are overall tougher and more durable than their MIM or cast counterparts. Phosphate coated to reduce the chance of brittle failure that can occasionally come from nitride finishing.

Excellent part
Fit and finish are outstanding. I’ve replaced the mil-spec extractor in two bolts with this extractor. Installed perfectly. Fired a few thousand rounds. No problems. Will see if they last longer than a mil-spec extractor. I suspect that they will.

Measure once, drill twice?
The slot for the pivot pin was drilled slightly too small, as it will not take colt or several other mil spec pins I have. Finish and exterior machining look good but I'll give three stars only because I will have to use a file to bore out the diameter of the pin slot.
